US Army French Armed Forces Black Braided Fourragere Shoulder Award

Issued by the French Armed Forces as an official decoration for commemorating heroic units, these braided cords are one of the few foreign awards U.S. troops can be eligible to receive. These Fourragères are most famous for their awarding to the 5th and 6th U.S. Marine regiments following their heroic service at the Battle of Belleau Wood in WW1. Great for completing a dress uniform!
