What is common goldenrod?

Common goldenrod (Solidago virgaurea L.) is a perennial plant belonging to the Asteraceae family, occurring naturally in Asia and Europe, including Poland, where it grows in glades, bright forests and heathlands. Due to the presence of numerous compounds with health-promoting effects, goldenrod herb has been a valued and eagerly used herbal raw material for years.

Common goldenrod herb extract is a source of many biologically active ingredients that have positive effects. They include large amounts of flavonoids - mainly rutin and quercetin, phenolic acids and polyphenols - such as caffeic acid and chlorogenic acid, as well as saponins, tannins and essential oils.

How does common goldenrod work?

What is the strength and origin of the extract ?

When planning supplementation, it is worth paying attention not only to the strength of the extract, but also to its origin. Manufacturers of some supplements use goldenrod extracts of unknown, often Chinese origin.

The extract contained in our product  was produced in Poland from start to finish, from herbs coming exclusively from Polish crops  and is characterized by a high DER extraction ratio of 10:1. This means that 1000 mg of dried goldenrod herb was used to obtain 100 mg of the extract.
