I don't wear pins especially frequently, but this is one I would wear all of the time--on a lapel, a jacket pocket, a sweater, to secure a scarf, etc. etc.--and never tire of. I have not found another quite like it but think it is likely Victorian era/early 20th c., and really nicely made, with very fine details and the pin nicely soldered to the back. I am pretty certain it is copper, which is in excellent condition, with a wonderfully warm patina but no greening at all. And I believe it is a bee, though as I look at them now the bodies of flies as so similar, so I think it could pass as a fly as well! Regardless, just lovely.
