USN Viet Nam War Era O.D. Green Nylon/Cotton A-2 Permeable Cold Weather Deck Coat

The iconic olive drab green A2 deck jacket! Beginning it's service as the successor of the N-1 jacket beginning in 1962, the A2 served till the early 1970s and saw use during many years of the Vietnam War. This particular A2 jacket has a faded contract number, but it most certainly saw use as evident by the stamp of the previous owner's name and the stains and damage that are present. Overall a beautiful distressed example, and with the previous owner's stamped right above the front pocket, this jacket is a great addition to any collection!

Fair Condition. Has stains, marks, and other such imperfections. There is one large stain on the right arm. May have small holes, tears, scratches, or similar damage although none seem to be present aside from the knitted cuff of the left arm which is torn and has a hole. Previous owner's name is stamped above the chest pocket. Tag is completely faded in some areas. Size Medium.
