ProMediaGear PLNZ9 Arca-Swiss L-Bracket for Nikon Z9

The ProMediaGear PLNZ9 L-Bracket is a precision-machined, custom-fit Arca-Swiss compatible L-bracket designed specifically for the Nikon Z9 mirrorless camera. It allows fast switching between landscape and portrait orientation while maintaining perfect alignment over the tripod’s center of gravity.

Machined from a solid block of aircraft-grade T6061 aluminum and finished with a hard black anodized coating, the PLNZ9 provides a rigid, secure mounting platform that resists twisting, slipping, and wear in professional shooting environments.

Designed for Fast Orientation Changes

The PLNZ9 enables quick transitions between horizontal and vertical shooting without removing the camera from the tripod head. By mounting directly to the tripod apex in both orientations, it delivers improved balance and stability compared to rotating a ball head alone.

Its two-piece design allows the vertical section to slide or be removed entirely, enabling use as a standalone base plate when an L-bracket configuration is not required.

Arca-Swiss Compatibility

The integrated Arca-Swiss dovetail is compatible with ProMediaGear clamps and most Arca-type tripod heads and quick-release systems. Built-in safety stops help prevent accidental camera release if the clamp is loosened.

Strap Port Options (Variant Selection)

The PLNZ9 is available with two strap port configurations:

• SS2 Strap Port: Compatible with ProMediaGear SS2 camera straps. This option is discontinued and available only while inventory lasts.
• QD Strap Port: Compatible with standard QD (Quick Detach) camera straps and is the current recommended option for long-term support.
