Low sheen interior/exterior paint is suitable for exterior surfaces such as timber (including decks), bricks, concrete, fibre-cement sheeting, plaster finishes, Hardiplank, Zincalume steel, Colorbond, Colorsteel, galvanised iron, and suitably prepared steel and wrought iron, and interior surfaces such as plasterboard and timber.

It is fade-resistant, includes an anti-mould additive, and contains elastic compounds that prevent cracking when surfaces expand and contract due to temperature changes.

Due to the low sheen level, surface imperfections are less visible than with higher gloss levels.

Dirt and marks will usually wash off with a hose and brush, or using a rag and soapy water, but low sheen paints are not as stain resistant or durable as higher gloss paints.
