Both models offer a wide frequency response of ±0.25dB from 20Hz to 20kHz, ensuring accurate audio reproduction across the entire spectrum. With a total harmonic distortion of just 0.35% at full rated power, they maintain audio clarity even at high output levels. The amplifiers support various load impedances in stereo/dual mode, ranging from 2Ω to 16Ω, as well as 70V and 100V constant voltage systems, making them suitable for diverse system configurations.

A key distinction between the two models is the inclusion of BLU link digital audio transport in the DCi 8|600N, enabling seamless integration with Harman's digital audio systems. This feature facilitates networked monitoring, recallable presets, and setup of secondary inputs that engage if the primary inputs fail. The DCi 8|600 does not include BLU link, catering to installations where analog inputs suffice.
