MACH 2 Atmosphere Upgrade Kit – Convert from Recirculating to Atmosphere Venting

The 5930 Atmosphere Conversion Kit allows you to vent the Mach 2 to atmosphere by ensuring the piston stays closed at idle and plugging the recirc hose. This kit includes a 30mm hose plug, a trumpet to replace the hose outlet (amplifying the sound), and a firmer spring (6115) for proper operation.

The Mach 2 comes standard with a softer 6116 spring, ideal for recirculating setups or cars with an idle vacuum of 18inHg or less. If the piston remains closed with the stock spring, no change is needed. However, if it hovers open at idle—even with maxed-out pre-load—the firmer 6115 spring should be installed to prevent stalling or backfiring.
