If you want to waterproof the joint of the drainage pipes,the sections of drain need to be joined together with adhesive (not included).Detachable grate can be manually installed and detached easily, needs no screws or bolts. It also provides a convenient way to clean the drain if it is bunged up.
Various Outlet Connections: Each trench drain provides a bottom outlet with multiple sizes(3.1 inch/ 3.6 inch), and a side outlet(2.2 inch). You can choose the size you need. No outlet connector is required because it is already built-in; thus, the pipe can be connected directly. Kind Reminder: The 3.1 inch outlet fits standard 3 inch pipes. For 3.6 inch and 2.2 inch outlets, choose pipes accordingly
