Chorus for America, edited by Carlos BulosanChorus for America: Six Philippine Poets, edited by Carlos Bulosan (1942), is the first Filipino poetry anthology published in America, printed in an edition of only 500 copies and never reprinted due to the war. Bulosan assembled it in the weeks after Bataan fell, four years before America Is in the Heart secured his place as the defining literary voice of the Filipino immigrant experience.
