I was listening to an audio recording of my wife and our baby when she was three months.

I could hear my wife talking to our baby with such tenderness and our baby Daralyn cooing and making cute sounds, as if she was responding to Mama.

Those moments were sweet when they happened. As we listened to the audio recording, as soon as I heard my baby’s cooing noises I was filled with so much joy!

How could this be?
How could captured sounds of our little one bring so much joy to me?

Our little one has been very verbal since the beginning and we have always encouraged her to coo and speak. That now a days and I get so amazed when she learns a new word or she describes something on her own.
Like one time she walked up to mama with a box and as she pointed to the box she said “moayke- tiker “ and we looked and it was a sticker of a motorcycle.

We celebrate every moment we can with her and show her so much love.

This is what is meant to be the reality of every child.
A little taste of redemption, of what Eden may have been like.

Why do I mention this?
This is the third of anti abortion artwork I’ve created.

And I mention this because as I watch my little one grow, I can still remember the days when my wife would tell me that she was as big as a poppy seed in her womb.

That poppy seed is my beautiful baby with whom I get to play with and read her books today and give her kiss attacks.

All life is sacred, but human life is all the more sacred because it stems from the image of God.

That poppy seed does not have the potential to be a human. It is human. It is the initial phase of the imago Dei(image of God) it doesn’t have it in a later phase, it is, from the moment of conception.

And for this reason we should fight for these beautiful lives that God has sent us.

We are cutting off whole generations, of lives that can make a difference, bring ideas, make dreams come true, with gifts unimaginable.

If we don’t fight, if we don’t avenge them,

He will.

And oh how He will avenge.

There are options. Organizations dedicated to caring for a baby in the case that a parent can’t. Please seek out those options.
