A symbol of protection, the Mati is well known in many cultures around the world as the “evil eye.” Two overlapping, concentric circles create the recognizable motif known to ward off evil spirits in the Mati sculpture. This stylized adaptation is crafted from textured cast aluminum bronze finished disks surrounded by an antique brass center. A matching antique brass stem fixes the sculpture to a cylindrical veslana marble base. With three sizes available in this series, the Mata sculpture is best shown in multiples to create a striking display.
