West Cape Howe Cabernet Sauvignon from the 5 star winery awarded by James Halliday Wine Companion. The winery is located in the famed Mount Barker Wine Region, WA. A dark crimsony red with good depth. Lovely aromas of dark plums and red berry fruits, complexed by a hint of smokiness. The delicious fresh berry fruit flavours are balanced by the drying tannins, a hallmark of this variety. There’s an attractive smoky plum fruit character and the long dry finish gives good length of flavour.
