AstroSolar® ECO-size Safety Film 5.0 

 For solar observation and photography at high magnification. Size: approx. 140 x 155 mm, includes DIY instructions and cutting template. This film is telescope quality with an Optical Density (OD) of 5.0, making it safe for visual solar observation with additional optics and imaging.

This high-precision film consistently achieves strehl ratios of 94-96% in interferometric tests, performing optically similar to a Fluorite Triplet Lens by Carl Zeiss or Astro Physics. On the market for over 25 years, it is the only film material that maintains the optical wavefront quality without reducing sharpness or contrast, even with high magnification. Suitable for small telescopes, finders, binoculars, spotting scopes, and camera lenses.
