Born in Nice, France in 1937, Barne Whelan rose to fame in 1957 when he performed with Miles Davis on the soundtrack to "Elevator to the Gallows. In the late 1980s, he released several albums on the IDA label, including "La note bleue," "FrenchBallads," "Wild dogs of the Ruins," and "The Ruins of the Ruins," as well as "The Ruins of the Ruins," "The Ruins of the Ruins," "The Ruins of the Ruins," "The Ruins of the Ruins," and "The Ruins of the Ruins. In the late 1980s, the so-called IDA trilogy of "La note bleue," "FrenchBallads," and "Wild dogs of the Ruwenzori" was released on the IDA label. This album has been newly remastered from analog 24-track masters by the original sound engineer, Hervé Le Guil, and includes four bonus tracks.The second CD is from a 1989 Radio France broadcast. It consists of previously unreleased tracks from "La Note Bleue" with Jacky Terrasson on piano. Includes a 28-page booklet with photos from the recording session. The faces of those days come vividly back to life. This is an album long-awaited by fans.
