The Edge X from Intova is a 1080p action camera with a uni-body design that seals the camera electronics directly inside an underwater housing rated to depths of 330'. It features a 12 MP CMOS sensor that enables the camera to shoot 1080p video at up to 60 fps, 720p video at up to 120 fps, and 848x480p video at up to 240 fps for super slow-motion playback. It can also capture 12 MP photos, with burst modes up to 30 shots per shutter button press. A fixed-focal-length lens features an ultra-wide 160° angle of view, letting you capture nearly everything in front of the lens. The housing is constructed of rugged polycarbonate with a rubberized protective coating. It features integrated buttons for full camera controls in any environment. The glass lens port has a water repellent and anti-reflective coating, with an optically flat design for seamless operation above or below water. A built-in 1.5" LCD screen allows you to compose your shots while shooting or to play them back later on. The LCD can be disabled to save battery life when not required. With the screen on, the rechargeable lithium-ion battery provide approximately 1.5 hours of continuous recording, with up to 2 hours with the LCD screen off. Video and photos are stored on microSD/SDHC/SDXC cards up to 64GB in size, with Class 10 cards required for 1080p video recording.
