Introducing the Rokland Backcountry 10 dBi outdoor Helium & IoT 915 MHz 45" fiberglass antenna with N-male connector and U-bolt bracket mount. This is designed for very rural and remote locations and is not advisable for urban or suburban locations. With this very high gain, the signal can receive from a very long distance but at a very narrow path. It will miss hotspots within a few miles and is designed to connect remote miners and other IoT devices to the Helium network from an exceptionally long distance of 10 miles over open terrain, or more. Urban and suburban users should check our 8 dBi and 5.8 dBi options for better performance at non-rural distances. This is certified and designed for outdoor environments and is weatherproof. We do recommend RokTape to seal all outdoor connection points.

For unlicensed U.S. operation, use is generally limited to FCC-authorized transmitters operating within the 902–928 MHz band and only with antenna types and gains permitted by that transmitter’s FCC authorization. Under FCC Part 15.247, systems using antennas above 6 dBi may require reduced transmitter output power. When this 10 dBi antenna is used with a Part 15.247 transmitter that otherwise has a 30 dBm / 1 W conducted output limit, transmitter conducted output should not exceed 26 dBm / approximately 400 mW, unless a qualified installer or compliance professional confirms a different limit applies to the specific FCC-authorized system.
