The OEM idler pivot tends to bend the shaft as well as bend the tabs on the frame that locate the idler pivot, causing tie rod issues and poor handling. The solution features a hardened alloy steel shaft with tapered roller bearings, plus a frame-strengthening weld-in gusset.
