Hades was originally formed back in January 1978. The New Jersey thrash/speed metal band released two critically acclaimed thrash albums in the 1980s; Resisting Success and If At First You Don't Succeed. By the end of the 80's, after a brutal European tour, the band fragmented. However, the band members decided to reform and do one last show for the fans and record it for release. Live On Location was the result of that successful reunion and is a powerful live album and testimony to this band's strength. Officially licensed, the vinyl release features all 13 live tracks for the first time ever. (Original German vinyl pressings omitted one track.) Working with guitarist Dan Lorenzo to get the cover art the band had always imagined, the album features new art and layout by Scott Waters (Hades, Anger As Art, Trytan), utilizing photography from the 1991 Studio One show. The album was meticulously remastered by Rob Colwell (Nevermore, Flotsam & Jetsam, Helstar, Sacred Reich). The vinyl is pressed on emerald green vinyl, has an insert with exclusive photos and liner notes, and is limited to just 200 copies.The deluxe jewel case CD version includes four bonus studio tracks. The deluxe packaging features an outer slipcase with alternative cover art and an 8-page booklet with tons of photos and liner notes.
