How to Adjust

• Shin pad: Set to desired height (Low / Middle / High) using the 2 fixing screws. Rotate the pad half a turn if needed to reach the correct position.
• Handlebar: Rotate the clamp wheel 2 turns anticlockwise, pull the release knob, raise to the required height, then release the latch knob. Move slightly until the latch re-engages, then tighten the clamp wheel.

How to Use

• Complete an appropriate risk assessment to confirm the patient can bear weight independently
• Inspect the handle and shin pad before every use - ensure both are secure and the equipment is undamaged
• Adjust the handlebar and shin pad to suit the patient
• Ensure the SOLO stabilising bar is fully retracted before beginning the transfer
