The Baumer OR18.RR-11157768 Photoelectric Sensor delivers precise and dependable object detection using retro-reflective sensing technology. Designed for a wide range of industrial applications, it provides an actual range of 3.5m and a nominal sensing range of 4.5m, ensuring reliable detection even in demanding environments.

Equipped with a pulsed red LED light source (660 nm) and a polarization filter, the sensor ensures accurate object recognition while suppressing false reflections. An LED green indicator alerts for alignment or soiled lens conditions, while an LED yellow indicator confirms output status, simplifying diagnostics.

The PNP output circuit allows flexible use in both light and dark operate modes, making it easy to integrate with automated systems. Its IP67-rated cylindrical threaded housing, crafted from ABS TERLURAN plastic with a durable PMMA optical front, ensures excellent resilience against dust and moisture.

With short circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, and a quick response time of less than 1 ms, this sensor is built for safe, consistent operation in dynamic production environments.
