The Leuze PRK5B/2X-M8 Photoelectric Sensor offers reliable and efficient detection using the reflection principle, ensuring optimal performance across a broad operating range of 0.02 to 6.5 meters with a TK(S) 100x100 reflector. Designed for industrial versatility, this compact rectangular sensor fits seamlessly into space-constrained applications while maintaining excellent detection accuracy.

Featuring a red LED light source (645 nm) in the exempt safety group, it combines safety and precision. The sensor supports NPN transistor output with both light switching and dark switching functionality (polarity-reversible), making it adaptable to a wide variety of control system configurations. With a switching frequency of 500 Hz and a rapid 1 ms response time, the PRK5B/2X-M8 ensures smooth, real-time object detection, even in dynamic setups.

Built for harsh conditions, it offers robust IP67 protection, wide temperature tolerance (-40 to 60°C), and chemical compatibility certified by ECOLAB. The M8 male connector and two M3 threaded sleeves simplify installation and maintenance.
