This version of the workshop focuses on decorating a flat tile rather than a mug. Working on a tile allows for more illustration freedom and is an excellent introduction to carving techniques.

Each participant will decorate one prepared tile using carving tools, underglazes, and wax resist.

What’s included:
• Live demonstration and guided instruction
• One prepared tile to decorate
• Use of carving tools and underglazes
• One finished, glazed, kiln-fired tile
• All materials provided

This workshop is available for kids on a case-by-case basis. We recommend a minimum age of 8, ideally with some painting or carving experience.

It makes a beautiful parent and child creative experience.
