A very limited edition Japanese single malt from a fast rising star of the industry, Sakurao. Like the beautifully changing four seasons of Japan, it’s characterized by its aroma that subtly change from the top to the finish. It’s imparted with a hint of the aroma of the nearby Seto Inland Sea, with a long finish of deeply rich taste.

The packaging is stunning gold foil where it's beauty cannot be captured on camera. Just magnificent.

About Sakurao

Sakurao was founded in 2018 by liquor company Chugoku Juzo. Chugoku Juzo was established in 1918 and at the time the main production was Shochu, Sake, Mirin and various liqueurs. They started 'producing' whisky in 1938 and until the liquor tax change of 1989, their field was 'budget' whisky. To mark the 100th anniversary of the company, Sakurao was launched and the distillery was set up with a hybrid still that allowed them to make grain whisky as well as gin.
