Bovine Serum Albumin Monoclonal Antibody
Sizes: 50µl, 100µl
Catalogue Numbers: MB65894-50, MB65894-100
Swiss-Prot: P02769
Host: Mouse
Reactivity: Bovine
Applications: WB
All Applications: WB (1/1000 - 1/2000)
Background: Bovine serum albumin (BSA) is the most abundant protein in plasma. Albumin is predominantly synthesized in the liver and is a major transportation component for many endogenous and exogenous compounds, including fatty acids, steroid hormones, metabolites and drugs. It is also responsible for maintaining colloid osmotic pressure and may affect microvascular integrity.
Product: Liquid in 0.42% Potassium phosphate, 0.87% Sodium chloride, pH 7.3, 30% glycerol, and 0.01% sodium azide.
Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from mouse antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: Recognizes endogenous levels of Bovine Serum Albumin protein.
Extra Notes: Western blot analysis of Bovine Serum Albumin expression in Bovine Serum Albumin (A) whole cell lysates.
Bioworld Molecular Weight: ~ 67 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Immunogen: Purified protein corresponding to Bovine Serum Albumin.
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Modification: Unmodified
