Kousaido carefully knead essential oil and finely selected wood powder from Kiso Hinoki (Japanese cypress), nurtured in the vast, pristine nature of Nagano Prefecture. Kiso Hinoki, one of the legendary “Kiso Five Trees” preserved for over a thousand years, has long captivated people with its beauty and rich fragrance.

*The incense sticks come beautifully wrapped in a white paper carefully stored in a kiri (paulownia) wood box that is perfect for storage.

*This Kousaido incense will not work with Kungyokudo incense holder due to the size of the incense stick.
