This antique Victorian era hand knit crochet white winter petticoat skirt. It has a decorative red zig zag stitching encircling it along the hemline. This wonderful winter petticoat skirt is a long tea length. It has a fitted wide drop waist with adjustable draw string at an an open V back along the waistband. It is in excellent clean wearable condition and is a rare find. It is unlined. The skirt measures 45 cm across the waist if the string is tied all the way. So it will give more depending were you tie the string. It is a bout 77cm long, with a pretty open waist. There is a dime (smaller really) spot on the hem where the stitch is apart and some discoloration spots.
