Do I need to remove the door panel to install this?

Yes. The handle mounts from behind the interior trim, so the door panel needs to come off. Once the panel is removed, the handle bolts directly to factory mounting points — no drilling or adapters required.

Will this handle match my existing interior trim?

This is finished to OEM spec and designed to blend with factory door panel material. If your interior has heavy wear or discoloration, the new handle may look fresher by comparison — test-fit before final install if appearance match is critical.

Is this a direct replacement, or will I need to transfer hardware from my old handle?

It comes as a complete assembly. Disconnect the old handle from its mounting bolts, unbolt the latch rod if equipped, and bolt the new handle into place using the same fastener points.
