No. This catback bolts to the exit of your existing cat. You're only replacing the system downstream — much simpler work than a full exhaust swap.

Will this fit if my stock exhaust is rusted or damaged?

The mounting points are what matter. Test-fit the clamps and hangers at your cat outlet before committing to installation. If your factory mounts are sound, the new system will bolt in without issue.
