These long swim trunks are produced in our unique Aquaflex ECO material consisting of 100% polyester, of which 55% is recycled from plastic bottles made from repreve yarn and 45% is PBT polyester.

This composition offers several specific benefits:

• 100% chlorine and UV resistant, so both fit and colours are maintained through +500 hours in the water
• UPF +50 UV protection
• A uniquely high level of breathability
• Equipped with a 4-way elastic fabric that gives you the necessary feeling of freedom in your swim trunks
• Oil and sunscreen resistant and antibacterial, so you don't have to wear a heavy pair of swim trunks covered in various oils and sunscreens that stay fresh again and again
• Water-repellent and water-resistant, so they don't absorb water and won't become heavy to swim with, and you'll find yourself floating more naturally through the water
• The fact that the swim trunks are actually made from recycled plastic bottles that have been collected from the world's oceans is possible because of a demanding post-collection process. This involves crushing the bottles into small flakes, going through adaptive heating and cooling and ultimately becoming the strongest and most durable recyclable sewing thread in the world. But while this process is demanding, compared to a brand new virgin fibre, fewer emissions are emitted. Emissions, less water is used, and only new crude oil is used along the way
• The elastic at the top edge and the sewing thread around the leg cutout of the swim trunks have a major impact on their durability, as they often become loose after trips in chlorinated water. In Surfy Eco Swim Trunks, the particularly chlorine-resistant Fratelli Leoni® elastic is chosen, which retains its elasticity up to 3 times longer than normally used swimwear elastics due to the special pre-treatment of the silicone. In addition, the sewing thread used in the swim trunks, Alterfil®T, is particularly soft against the skin and gives a nice finish at the edge

The swim trunks are produced in Europe under the highest OEKO-TEX standard 100 certification, which is given to products that have passed tests against harmful chemical substances.

Designed with the small details in mind

• Ranging from 31 cm to 37 cm in side length (depending on size). These lengths were selected after +90 tests on boys aged 3-15 years to find the optimal length where they don't go halfway up the thigh or go past the knee. This results in a length that ends slightly above the knee
• Equipped with a waist drawstring so you can quickly and easily tighten or loosen your swim trunks
• The typical sewing seams on the front are omitted, giving Surfy Eco Swim Trunks a completely flat look from the front and avoiding unnecessary disturbance to the little guy
• Added a discreet white logo on one side to maintain the classic look
