Practical and purpose-built, the Nevis is a brilliantly wearable walking skirt designed for both mountain paths and everyday pavements. Thoughtfully versatile, it can be made in two distinct versions: a structured waistband with pocket and button detailing, perfect for utility-style fabrics, or a softer tie-waist version that lends itself beautifully to relaxed, fluid cloths.

The waistband version works particularly well in sturdier fabrics, while the tie-waist option shines in softer materials that create an easy, unfussy silhouette. It’s a design that balances function and style, making it just as satisfying to sew as it is to wear.

Suggested Fabric: Mid-weight cotton canvas, 8oz organic sanded twill, corduroy, light to medium-weight woollens and 7–10oz denim. For the tie-waist version, we recommend softer fabrics such as linen, Tencel/linen or linen/wool blends for a more relaxed drape.
