The artist was born in 1971 in Alice Springs but didn’t begin painting until 2015, with the Warlukurlangu Artists Aboriginal Corporation, an Aboriginal owned and governed art centre located in Yuendumu, a remote Aboriginal community 290km north-west of Alice Springs. This intricate design with its vivid colour palette reflects her signature style – a creative combination of colour and pattern to represent her mother and her grandmother’s country while incorporating her own ideas of modern design.
