The Electrocorder EC-2V is a two-channel voltage logger for single-phase voltage investigations where live-to-neutral and earth-to-neutral measurements are both useful.
Use it when a simple single-channel voltage recorder may not show enough context. The EC-2V records live-to-neutral voltage and earth-to-neutral voltage, helping investigate loose neutral, earthing or grounding concerns as well as general high or low voltage complaints.

What you get:
Set up the logger in Electrosoft, connect it to the socket or voltage point being monitored, then start recording. When enough data has been captured, disconnect the logger, connect it to a PC by USB and use Electrosoft to view, save, export and report on the results.
Typical applications: The EC-2V is intended for two-channel voltage investigations where a second voltage reference helps explain site behaviour.
What the EC-2V records:
Why constant sampling matters: many instruments only take periodic snapshots. The Electrocorder continuously samples throughout the averaging period, helping capture short events, changing loads and trend data that can otherwise be missed.
Recording duration depends on the selected averaging period. Shorter averaging periods give more detail, while longer periods support extended monitoring.
When supplied with the correct plug or voltage lead arrangement, the EC-2V can be used as a practical socket-level voltage logger. It is slightly more capable than the EC-1V because it records a second voltage channel.

When to choose the EC-2V
Choose this model when you need more diagnostic voltage information than a single-channel recorder provides, but still do not need current or power measurement.
Compare with related Electrocorder models
If you only need one voltage channel, consider the EC-1V. If voltage and current together are needed, consider the EC-2VA, CT-2VA or EC-7VAR-RS. For three-phase voltage, consider the EC-3V or SL-3V.
Key features:
Measurement note
The EC-2V is a voltage logger. It does not measure current, power or power factor.

What is the difference between EC-1V and EC-2V?
The EC-1V records one voltage channel. The EC-2V records live-to-neutral and earth-to-neutral voltage, giving more diagnostic context.
When is earth-to-neutral voltage useful?
It can help when investigating possible neutral or earthing/grounding issues.
Does it measure current?
No. The EC-2V is a voltage logger only.
Can it be used for voltage optimisation checks?
Yes. It can record voltage data before and after optimisation work.
What software is used to analyse the data?
Electrosoft PC software is used to configure the logger, download recorded data, view graphs, export data and create reports.
