Acer platanoides 'Globosum'An excellent deciduous tree, commonly known as Norway maple, for structure and long term presence, prized for its autumn colour. Growing to around 4m tall by 3m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun, though it tolerates some shade on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil and is drought tolerant once established. It produces green flowers in spring. Fully hardy throughout the UK and the flowers are a good nectar source for bees.
