Join Jessica Hatlen in a private immersive group experience where you will work together to learn to create and build amazingly magical underwater composites! This Foundations course is open to ALL skill levels, and each level, from beginner to advanced, will learn and benefit from this month with Jessica!

Foundations of Underwater Composites will begin on January 3rd and will continue for 4 weeks. Each Tuesday, Jessica will post an instructional video for you to view, with an assignment. Assignments are due the following Friday, and Jessica will choose 5 images from the submissions for critique. Critique videos will be posted on Mondays.

Week 1: January 3 - This week will focus on color toning and balancing for underwater imagery.
Week 2: January 10 - This week you will be creating motion in your images, focusing on flowing fabrics and hair.
Week 3: January 17 - This week you will be focusing on the storytelling aspect of underwater imagery and adding depth to your images.
Week 4: January 24 - In your Final week you will take everything you gave learned throughout the month and create our final underwater world images, putting into play all the techniques learned throughout the month.
