4 dBi SMA Male 915 MHz flexible gooseneck tactical antenna is an omni-directional SMA Male 915 MHz dipole antenna with 4 dBi peak gain. The antenna is 11.5 inches tall with a diameter of 16mm at its thickest point, and and can be bent as shown in the photo without internal damage.

Flat top vs round top design selection: we have 2 versions that have nearly identical performance however there are some internal design differences in addition to the form factor. Round top is spring design vs. Flat top straight wire.

I see similar looking antennas online that say for 600 MHz to 2700 MHz, is a wider frequency spectrum better? 

Antennas with a focused spectrum will have better performance on that band segment vs antennas with very wide spectrum. We generally do not recommend wide spectrum antennas except as a tool for frequency testing. This antenna has a frequency range of just 902-928 MHz to give you maximum performance.
