The Victron Inverter 24/375 is a compact DC-to-AC inverter designed for 24V battery systems, delivering 375VA of continuous 230V AC output via a SCHUKO socket. It is aimed at off-grid professionals, marine and vehicle installers, and anyone needing a reliable standalone inverter for light AC loads. VE.Direct connectivity allows integration with Victron monitoring hardware and the GX ecosystem.
The 24/375 sits at the entry level of Victron's VE.Direct inverter range. The 24V input voltage makes it appropriate for systems where a 24V battery bank is already in use, such as larger leisure vehicle builds or small off-grid setups that benefit from reduced cable losses compared to 12V equivalents. The 375VA rating is sufficient for laptops, LED lighting, phone chargers, small power tools and similar loads, but it is not intended for high-draw appliances such as kettles or heaters.
The VE.Direct interface is a key practical feature. It allows the inverter to communicate with Victron GX devices (such as the Cerbo GX), enabling remote monitoring, on/off control and data logging through the VRM portal. It also connects directly to a PC or phone via a VE.Direct to USB cable, giving access to VictronConnect for firmware updates and configuration without needing a full GX installation.
The SCHUKO output socket is the standard two-pin earthed socket used across continental Europe. UK users will need a SCHUKO-to-UK adapter or a SCHUKO-to-UK lead to connect standard UK plugs. This is a standalone inverter only and does not include a battery charger or solar charge controller.

This inverter must be connected to a 24V DC battery bank using appropriately rated DC cabling and fusing. DC connections should be kept as short as possible to minimise voltage drop and heat. The unit is not suitable for grid-tied or grid-parallel operation and does not require G98 or G99 notification. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person familiar with DC systems. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit to prevent thermal shutdown. The SCHUKO output is not earthed in the same way as a UK BS1363 socket; verify earthing arrangements are appropriate for your installation before connecting sensitive equipment.
