DC Isolation for Rooftop Fire Safety

The BHT-5/5 Series PV Combiner Box with rapid shutdown is a DC isolation solution for solar rooftop fire safety. It allows manual disconnection of DC power in a fault or fire event, creating a safe working area for firefighters and reducing the risk of DC electric shock on the roof.

When AC power is shut off at the property, the safety switch simultaneously disconnects all DC strings, ensuring full system shutdown. Connectivity: 6 solar PV string inputs to 6 solar PV string outputs, 50A per string, paralleling permitted up to this current level at 1500V DC.
